Parkersburg, West Virginia is located just about where the star is on the state logo at the top of this page.   We're right on the mighty Ohio River at the convergence of the Little Kanawha River.

Without a doubt, Parkersburg is one of the friendliest cities you'll ever visit.   It's the kind of town where you'd like to raise your kids.  Right now, Parkersburg has around 30,000 people or more.  You've probably found this site through a search engine or by subscribing to Network Associates.

The residents of Parkersburg enjoy the outdoors immensely.  We have several stock-car race tracks in the area, plenty of water sport activities, a Rails to Trails biking & walking track... all sorts of restaurants serving just about any cuisine you'd like, large movie houses, a historic theatre, an actor's guild... whew... you name it!

We also have two major hospitals, many health & wellness facilities, health food stores, golf courses, baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, an olympic-sized swimming pool, two city parks, a water slide, North Bend and Mountwood State Parks just out of town on Route 50...

A historic hotel, all kinds of stores, factory outlets, craft shops, antique shops and... oh, yeah... an island where there's a reproduction of the mansion that once stood there.

If you want to come to see us sometime, just come on I-77, Route 2, Route 47, Route 50 or Route 68.  We'll leave the sidewalks out and the lights on!
